I was excited about my invitation to my community garden pot luck, but was never expecting to get educated. Don't community gardens rock?
Mine does.
Among several tidbits of information, this tree has stayed with me: Moringa Tree. It's a tropical tree that is not suited to our climate, so it's rare seeing it here. It tastes about like you'd expect a leaf to taste like. (*had to know.)

It's edible and contains lots of good stuff: Vitamins A, B and C, protein and minerals.
It's said that this tree is grown to help poverty stricken nations feed their people.
I love nature!
