Using Greens for Wraps

What a beautiful weekend to work in the garden and celebrate my birthday with great friends and family! I was also able to squeeze some time to plant some of the garden, of course. What's up with these random cold fronts?

Chard is one of my favorite greens to grow. It's easy to grow, one of the more mild tasting greens, and has a high nutrient value. A+ in my book! I've been growing chard in my aquaponics system all winter. Using chard as the wrap is one of my favorite ways to eat it. With my smaller greens, it's more like tacos.

I made this amazing Strawberry Avocado Salsa for the inside of my wrap. The recipe calls for a lime dressing... I could eat this every day! I always get the 'poor girl only eats salad' look when I tell people I focus my diet on plants. I don't think I'm getting that look with this wrap.

A simple way to eat more greens and to super charge the health of almost any meal. Yes Please.
